This free personal finance budet summary tool is for those who want to quickly assess one's budget as a first step to make sure planned expenses do not exceed anticipated income. As discussed in Chapter 4 in the book An Engineer's Attempt to Explain Personal Finance, summarizing one's budget on a monthly or yearly basis is one of the commonly used tools available to help maintain financial security. Enter each of your budget items and the program will calculate the budget results,

Use the Save/Export button to avoid losing work and a JSON file will be created in your Downloads folder for importing at a later date. These tools are best viewed in a desktop environment.
